Who I am: In Less Than A Trillion Words

My name is Matthew Tegge. 

I was born in Wisconsin, a state known for cheese and beer—thusly my physique matches the image you might expect. Despite my deep connections with family and lifelong friends in Wisconsin, love led me to a new chapter in Canada with my wonderful fiancée, Natasha. She has three children from a previous marriage whom I have decided are now also mine, and I love them all dearly.

I've been passionate about reading and writing for as long as I can remember, always with a story idea swirling in my mind and the dream of becoming a professional writer has been with me nearly as long. Although it’s often considered an unconventional career path (and not exactly the 'reliable' option), I’ve learned that pursuing what truly makes me happy is worth the risk. Now I'm in my mid-30s, and am diving headfirst into this creative journey. I’m excited to share my work with the world, and I’m ready for whatever feedback comes my way—good, bad, or otherwise.
